Family: Love and Jealousy

Family: Love and Jealousy

Hello Jesus
Lorraine:  I know many people that grew up in good homes; with parents and siblings that loved them. When they were children, they all got along. But as adults, they're always fighting. Sometimes the fighting is just between the siblings. But in several cases, it includes the parents, as well. They don't have anything good to say to one another - or about one another. And in several cases, they have no contact at all. How does this happen? And is this something new in today's modern world? Jesus:  No, this is certainly not new. Even when I was alive, people who came from loving and supporting families, where everyone loved one another equally, turned against one another as adults. This problem is as common as bread. And, unfortunately, the faction it…

Prayer, Death, and Healing

Prayer, Death, and Healing

Hello Jesus
Lorraine: Doing the work that I do as a medium, I often hear people say they are angry at you or hate you because a loved one of theirs has died. They believe you should have healed their loved one or somehow prevented their death. I'm always perplexed when I hear this. And I've often wondered, how do you feel about the people who say this about you? Jesus: It will be difficult for some people to believe what I’m about to say because their religion teaches otherwise. It's not possible for me to heal everyone, or to prevent everyone’s death. Not everyone is meant to be healed or saved from dying. Sooner or later everyone must die. Death is inevitable. Even during my physical lifetime, I didn’t heal everyone…

God, Love, and You

God, Love, and You

Hello Jesus
Jesus’ Greatest Commandments: 1) And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. 2) And the second, like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Mark 12:30, 31 In a recent teaching from Jesus, he said, “You cannot love others until you love yourself. Before you can love yourself you must love God. It is not possible to love yourself or anyone else until you love God - because God created you. But before you can even love God, you must accept Him. And you can’t accept yourself until you accept God first.” I must admit, I did not fully grasp this concept. Love is complicated…

The Jesus Chats: Is Heaven Real

The Jesus Chats: Is Heaven Real

Hello Jesus
Lorraine: Is heaven real? Jesus: Yes, heaven is real. But it is not what most people believe it to be. Unfortunately, the number of people who believe heaven exists is declining. And most of those that still believe in its existence, believe it is a physical place. It is not. In order to get to a physical place you have to be in a physical form, and you have to travel by some psychical means to get there. The only way to get to heaven is by dying. And when you die, you are in a non-physical form. You are in a spiritual form. Heaven is a spiritual place. To get here you must travel in a non-physical form through space, not by any vehicle or some other physical means,…

When You’ve Lost Faith

When You’ve Lost Faith

Hello Jesus
Lorraine: Jesus, what should people do when they’ve lost faith? Jesus: Before I can answer that question, I must first define the word faith. Faith means different things to different people. Not everyone believes in God or me. So faith will mean one thing to believers, and something completely different from non-believers. There’s also faith in oneself and mankind, which is different still. So let’s start by defining faith. Faith is a strong belief in something unknown, something that is not tangible, and something that cannot be understood. Let’s say you believe in money. Most people do. It’s tangible. There is no need to have faith in it because you understand what having it can do for you. And you understand the repercussions of not having it. For those people…

When You’ve Been Hurt

When You’ve Been Hurt

Hello Jesus
Lorraine: How Do you deal with, cope with, manage, and compartmentalize an injury or trauma that’s been done to you, especially when the person who hurt you walks away Scott free? Jesus: Sometimes in life, people will hurt you. And they may not do so intentionally. But the hurt they cause can still result in emotional and/or physical injury. This type of injury is a result of an accident or carelessness in one’s thinking or actions. Then there are people who will hurt you deliberately. This type of trauma or injury is a result of violence. It may be premeditated or on the spur of the moment, but violence is a deliberate attempt to hurt, maim, or alter the course of someone’s life. Since the two types of injuries are…

Becoming Your Authentic Self

Becoming Your Authentic Self

Hello Jesus
Lorraine: I get a lot of emails from people who are struggling with fear, stress, and anxiety. Can you give my readers a short message that will help those dealing with these issues?” Jesus: People who struggle with fear, stress, and anxiety are not doing what they were born to do. You come into the world with a purpose, whatever that may be. You are conditioned through parenting, society, and peers to do and become what is socially acceptable. Living your purpose and doing what is acceptable in your society may or may not be harmonious. Trying to fit into a world where you feel out of place, where you are not living out your purpose, can cause a great deal of stress and anxiety. Only when you are living…

For the Children – A Question from a Reader

For the Children – A Question from a Reader

Hello Jesus
Lorraine: I received an email today from someone who would like a message from you for all the hurting children in the world. Do you have a message for them? Jesus: Yes. I have a message for the children, their parents, and for anyone who cares for or comes into contact with children. I love children. I am angered when they are hurting. The cause doesn’t matter - no child should be hurting. When any child is hurting, I am hurting with them and for them. They are precious to me. They are God’s children. Babies, infants, toddlers, and young children all need love, nurturing, caring, support, and guidance. It is your job as parents, as adults, as a community, as a society, as a species to nurture children until…
